Grandmother, mother, Tuscany
Toscana DOC was born in Montepulciano, in the province of Siena, in 1976. After graduation, at the age of twenty she began managing a trattoria together with two friends. These are the years in which she approaches the world of cooking, those dishes of the Tuscan tradition that from an early age she saw coming out, almost magically, from the expert hands of her grandmother and mother.
In 2003 she joined the family business, Villa il Patriarca, and here she realized that cooking is the passion of his life.
– Thus began the most intense, but most beautiful years of my life, between the study and the birth of my children: Valerio, Matilde and Pietro. –
I learned it by watching my children
From my children I learned that when you talk about taste, nuances are a secondary aspect, because as they say “a dish is either good or bad”. In the end what must remain is the taste of the raw materials; this is our daily challenge in the kitchen and the philosophy of my restaurant.
