Relax for the whole family in Chianciano Terme
Powered continuously by the thermal water of the Sillene spring, whose beneficial properties were known since the times of the Etruscans and Romans, Theia thermal pools are located in Chianciano Terme, just ten minutes from our hotel. Sillene water, rich in carbon dioxide, calcium carbonate, bicarbonate and sulphates, has osteoarticular and muscle-tendon anti-inflammatory properties, as well as a therapeutic effect on various skin diseases, which will be softer and smoother for days.
The complex has four external and three internal pools, connected to each other for over 500 square meters, enlivened by jets of water and whirlpools and equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds available until exhaustion. The water temperature of the pools is between 33 and 36 degrees, and can therefore be used in all seasons. Inside, there is also a swimming pool with hot / cold kneipp path, beneficial for the circulation of the lower limbs, and a real wellness center for the youngest (between 6 and 14 years), where the temperatures of the dry cave and the cave wet are also suitable for children. There is also an adjacent wellness center for the family with sauna, Turkish bath, rasul, Finnish shower and emotional showers with a large relaxation area.
Useful information
No reservation needed to access the Theia pools, with the exception of evening entrances for events and dinners for which it is explicitly provided. Upon booking, it is also the entrance to the Wellness Center. Bathrobes and towels, swimming caps (which is mandatory) and slippers are to be brought, as well as swimsuits. In any case, there are anti-slip slippers and caps for sale at the checkout, and towels and bathrobes for hire.
In the locker room, the lockers are activated by a magnetic bracelet that also serves to accumulate any expenses at the bar restaurant, which can then be paid upon leaving.
It is advisable to take short baths and in any case not longer than 20 minutes and it is advisable to stop under the jet of the various water games for no more than 5-10 minutes. Masks, fins and other equipment cannot be used and noisy games are prohibited. Cell phones can only be used with the ringer turned off and smoking is prohibited.
Those who suffer from pathologies such as arterial hypertension, heart disease, cardiovascular pathology, chronic respiratory diseases, epilepsy, neoplasms, immune diseases, metabolic diseases, and those who have recently undergone surgery, are invited to consult the doctor at the SPA.
Theia Bistro
Available for all guests with bar and cafeteria service throughout the day as well as with Tuscan first pacts and small snacks such as pizza, sandwiches, salads and much more.
Children
Children under three enter the swimming pool and do not pay a ticket. Accompanied by their parents, they can swim in the swimming pool in a covered area made especially for them. Around, games, ad hoc services, the giraffe Theiamilla and his friend Ippoltone are at their disposal. From three years upwards, children pay a reduced ticket, they can swim but must be accompanied by an adult anyway.
The depth of the pools is about one meter and thirty and the presence of surveillance staff and medical assistance is guaranteed. The children’s pool is 80 cm deep.
